1. ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEST
Applicants from outside of Canada must have an acceptable language
proficiency score (TOEFL or IELTS) before they can be considered for
the program.
2. Study Permit
International students who wish to study in Canada for more than six
months must have a formal Study Permit. You will need to apply at
the nearest Canadian Embassy or Consular office which issues Study
Permits . Some students will also require a Temporary Resident
Permit.
3. Work in Canada
International students who have completed a certificate or diploma
program are eligible to apply for a post-graduate work permit. The
permit will enable students to work in a field related to their
course of study. There are restrictions: students must have
studied for a minimum of eight months, full-time in a public
institution; the maximum work permit period is 12 months.
4. Keyboarding assessment
A formal keyboarding assessment is not required but applicants
should be aware that poor keyboarding skills may affect their

prospects.
